mail indicator don't work

Hi everybody how do I get the mail indicator to work with ThunderBird. If ThunderBird is open I get a notification, but if TB is closed I get none.. I would like the indicator to indicate when a new mail has arrived, is it possibell

Hi blfriis, I don't think so - I do however prefer the notification that Cairo-Dock provides - the way indicator-applet 3 works is that it uses mail settings, I think so you read your mail via that - not very nice!

I was just asking becourse somebody asked me in the danish forum, and I didn't know the answer. I prefer not to be disturb when I'm working with the computer, and when I got the time to read mails I open thunderbird and read them
