I canot find how to get my printers to work in zorin. I have 2 older brother MFC printer and 1 older kyocera laser printer. 2 are network printers. I can print to all printers but the printers never actually print.

Remove your printers from the printer list, open a terminal and enter:

Code:
sudo system-config-printer

Then try once more - are your printers listed in the list of available printers? :D

Sorry but that did not help. The print jobs keep disappearing into the bit bucket. I finally found Linux drivers on Brothers Europe website which got the printers working. Do not know why they do not have them on the US website.

Glad you got sorted! :D

Could you post the european link for the benefit of other users? Thanks! :D

The brother-USA website does not carry the Linux drivers. Here is the link to find Linux drivers: http://www.brother-usa.com/support/Mode ... JIlmGd0zkg

Just input your model and select Linux os. Worked for me and it also install scanning software but I cannot seem to get that working. It (app is called Simple Scan) lists the 2 printers but whichever one I select, when I click on scan, it get the error "unable to connect to scanner'
