I just installed zorin Os like yesterday but now i'm worried about that boot screen that it puts in if i format my zorin petition will that get rid of that bootloader it used to do it with ubuntu only it was black and white and had me pick windows or ubuntu now it's blue HELP !!!!!

i installed the newest version 9.1
and windows is on the list i just want to know is if i get rid of the zorin partition will that bootloader go away

The Zorin OS bootloader is Standard for Zorin OS and Windows should be the 3rd or 4th Option in the list!.
You can re-install GRUB if you wish with the following terminal command:
- Code:
sudo apt-get update
- Code:
sudo apt-get purge grub-common
- Code:
sudo apt-get install grub-pc

Hi,
if you want to erase the linux partitions, make sure you run the Windows "fixmbr" command to wipe the GRUB bootloader from your system.
