[SOLVED] Help needed pleasssse

I want to instal zorin, however whilst trying to do this i have discovered that the computer is no longer able to read discs, is there any other way to get it installed?

Hi, before you give up on your Optical Drive (is it DVD-RW? if not it would not work [if DVD-CD-RW]). If your optical drive is a DVD burner have you ever used one of these?

If your machine is able to boot from USB (memory stick/thumb/flash drive) then try this method:

Are you intending to dual boot alongside Windows or have Zorin on its own?

Yes its a RW yes i have used one before, i wont read or write discs any longer, i wrote the disc on x3 speen on a new computer, slow speed to make sure there was 1 no errors and 2 it was compatible, i will have a look at both links now, your a star for replying so quickly thank you so much

Hey guys fab help, used rufus to make my usb bootable, put the iso on it popped it into the computer and bang all up and running, replaced windows though because the computer is REALLY OLD and spends most of its time collecting dust, that being said its like a new computer now running zorin. Thanks so much for the help
