desktop question

Hi all, now using Zorin 9 Lite on an Acer netbook and its working just fine. I do have one question; I find the double desktops annoying because they seem to change everytime the cursor goes to the corner or off a webpage, so my question is; is there a way to lock the desktop(s) so that only one desktop is displayed? Thanks!

Try this.

Zorin Menu > System Tools > Preferences > CompizConfig Settings manager
then uncheck the "Desktop Cube" a pop up should come up asking if you want to disable other dependent plugins, say yes. and then click close.

This doesn't actually disable the multi desktop but it disables the Compiz quick desktop switching.

I can confirm that Compiz is not installed in Zorin OS 9 Lite by default:

Did you install any extras because I don't have "Hot Corners" on my version of Zorin Lite?.
