I have been trying to find out how to remove the English UK Keyboard icon (En1) in my task bar .. if it can be done ?, any help appreciated

And to think, I spent like 20 minutes yesterday messing with AWN config, and plugin data trying to find a scriptable way to remove it.
Sometimes I overthink things.
In case someone else comes though here asking about how to enable/disable it.
Zorin Menu > System Settings > Under "Personal" click on "Text Entry" > and check or uncheck the "Show Current input source in the menu bar" in the bottom left hand corner.
