Hi,

open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t) and paste the following command into it and press enter, enter your PW and let it do its thing:

Code:: sudo apt-get install skype

That's it!.

Oh this is great I did not know Skype worked in Zorin OS, but I would need to make a new account (its been some time) 8-)

Skype is pre-installed in Zorin OS 9 Ultimate!.

Zorin Menu > Internet >Skype

I am still in process of trying to get jitsi configured as my preferred conference softwarre (which is cross-platform by the way - mac, windows are also catered for). And why you should not use Skype:
