(SOLVED) Firefox home page

Sorry for a really basic question, but I've tried to search for the answer without success. I'm having trouble changing the Firefox home page from the "Zorin search page" to another page. No matter how many times I change it in Firefox configuration, it keeps going back to the Zorin page.

Hi,

first do a full system update per the guide:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2247

Once you have done the updates AND RESTARTED YOUR PC, open FireFox > Edit > Preferences > General and add the homepage you want, start your favourite website and select "use current pages" . (Start the webpage before you go to the settings menu!).

Thank you for your reply. I had already upgraded the system, what finally worked was purging firefox and reinstalling with Synaptic.

I seem to remember that is what I had to do first time around!
