i have two computers running windows 7 (1 running 7 home and other 7 pro), i can access the windows computer shares from Zorin but when i try to access the Zorin computer from either windows computer i can see the shares folder on second drive but when i try to open i get (you don't have the correct permissions to access this folder)
can any one help it could be a samba issue or it might be the windows computers i just can't seem to find the problem.
thanks in advance
podgy

ps i have sorted this out for anyone else with problems like this be aware that the way you set passwords in samba makes all the difference.

Take a look at CIFS which is part of Samba and make sure everything is up-to date - someone else posted a solution a while back and can't remember which forum member it was - I would also advise using the Public Folders on both systems! ;)

I also posted screenshots of folder permissions elsewhere on here. ;)
