(SOLVED) microphone

hi i am using mumble to talk with freinds while gaming but the they cant hear me when i talk on the mic it lights up on the screen when i que it but they cant hear anything the mic is plugged into the port on the back of my computer thank you in advance!!

It is important that you configure the hardware with it!. :D

doesnt seem to picking up the mic at all wont give me any options for input device

Hi,

there are different coloured sockets on the sound card, are you sure it is in the correct socket?, "Mic In" is normally pink!. :D

yup had it in the wrong input it was for subwoofer it looked pink when i plugged it in sorry for the confusion
