(SOLVED) GRUB installation failed

I just finished building a pc and tried installing my one and only OS...zorin (not dual booting). I used the universal usb installer and booted up my pc. Everything was working fine until it was installing the GRUB bootloader (which I only have a slight understanding of). It gave me the error "grub-efi-amd64-signed" blah blah blah you've seen this before. It simply says GRUB couldn't be found. I researched this problem, but I couldn't find a direct solution to my problem since the one's I read about were dual booting with Windows and had had their GRUB overwritten because Windows thinks it is the only OS available. I saw a general solution called Super Grub Disk that will restore the bootloader but I dont know if it is safe and I could not find a thorough tutorial on how to use it. Let me know how to fix the issue (the installer crashes after the error).

Thanks for your time.
