Changing time settings

I am running Zorin OS 8. The clock is incorrect but when I click on the time and select "Date and Time Settings" as directed in "Help" I am taken to the System Settings Control Panel, but there is nothing in there to make changes to my date and time settings. Where is that located?!!? The Help files are not correct.

Hi,

go to System Settings > Personal > Language Support and make sure that your settings reflect the region you are in, once done; you should restart, there should be an applet in System Settings too: System Settings > System > Time & Date

See the language settings thread too:

Have you done a full system update?:

There is no applet called Time & Date under my system settings. That is the problem. My Zorin OS 8 is up to date.

Hi,

part of your problem is that you are using an unsupported version of Zorin, you have version 8 which is no longer supported, you should upgrade to version 9 at least, you can save all your data and settings if you follow this advice:
