Hello,

When I run my netbook with Zorin OS 9 Core I get a window with error and icons on task bar are not visible (clock too).

Hi,

firstly, I would use Zorin Lite on a Netbook as Core is most likely too heavy for it!.

Second, you should do a full system update per the update guide below.

Third, try adding and changing your desktop theme as this is the most likely cause for the clock not appearing in the panel!. :D

Update guide:

For themes and more about the panel (AWN), see the post install guide:

For Zorin Lite:

Let us know if this helps!.

Just to add I have had Zorin 9 Ultimate running on a 10 Gb split 4/6 Gb eee901 pc but it runs quite slow and Compiz has been 'disabled' - I would go with Wolfman on this and use Zorin Lite instead. :D

Thanks! Every seems to be all right ;)

My netbook have 4 GB memory and cpu with 64 bit (I think) architecture (AMD C60), so i choose Zorin 9 Core, because Zorin Lite 9 is only in 32x version.

Is a Zorin Lite will see all memory? You can check my CPU here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-C-60-N ... 806.0.html

Hi,

as long as your CPU has PAE support, it will see your 4GB RAM no problem even if it is 32 Bit, I use 32 Bit versions of Linux on 64 Bit PC's no problem!.
