Hi all,
I've recently installed Zorin OS 9 64bit on my Inspiron 5520. WiFi and Ethernet weren't working from the day I installed. I found a fix for activating the WiFi thanks to this community. I couldn't find any fixes whatsoever for ethernet. Could you please help me out? I'm new to Linux and a complete noob when it comes to terminal commands :/
Thank you!

Hi,

take a look at the link below and run the following commands in a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t):

Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f

Check your "software sources download location:" per the guide:

Also, right click the network icon on the panel and take the tick out of "Enable network", then enable it again, there seems to be a small bug in Ubuntu at the mo!.

Let us know if it helps. :D
