(SOLVED) HOW TO DIGITALISE A TAPE CASSETTE THROUGH ZORIN ???

I just talked to a friend ho`s running Windows and he said it was as simple as conecting the tape-player through the headset jack in the front of the pc.
- As long as you had a cabel with a small JACK and the ordinary Left and Right (White and Red) phono plugs in the other end.
And then agian this was Windows.....
How can this be done with Zorin ???
- First of all I should look for a program, I guees ?
And second......

Can any one help ????

do you have the necessary sockets for such a plug system on your PC?. (Make/Model would be nice + type of Soundcard!).
