I want to install a program I downloaded from the web.The file is in bin format.How can i get on?

Hi kinu,

if you possibly can, download deb packages (take note whether they are 32 or 64 bit packages depending on your PC) as they are very easy to install on Ubuntu based systems!!. This is not to say that you are only restricted to Deb Packages of course!!.
