Curious if some one could steer me to a post, that would help
bring back items on my menu bar lower right side clock
volume and etc. the black box with EN in it is all that shows.
I had them till the first update after installing Zorin, all else
seem to work fine.
Thank you for any help

Hi,

try changing your desktop theme, see the post install guide themes section, also there is a how-to for the AWN panel included!. "More info about the AWN panel (Avant Window Navigator" which is near the bottom!:

Thank you for the reply, I'll give that a try.

What is strange is there all there if I do a generic reboot.

I'll need a little time to try all, I did reinstall and same thing happened,
I'm sort of a dork with linux so I'll keep working at it, don't beat me up
to bad, bare with me.
Thank you

Now there's a thought, Wolfman in the buff!

If changing themes does not help or moving the panel to the top and back to the bottom, see my post here:

Alternatively for a completely different Destkop Environment:

Changing themes seem to work for now, everything is back but I had to reboot
then the items came back, strange it seems to be just with the default theme.
Thank you for your help.

Changing the theme seems to fix that problem in 99.99% of cases!. :D
