Hi Rod,

did you try removing the originally installed packages first?, use this terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t) command:

Code:
sudo apt-get remove rawtherapee rawtherapee-data

Then change your software sources download location as it states "Broken Pipe" in your list!:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2247

The re-install the pacakges with the following:

Code:
sudo apt-get install rawtherapee rawtherapee-data

You might want to run this command first for that just-in-case scenario:

Code:
sudo dpkg --configure -a

and:

Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f

I hope it helps. :D

If you still have issues try an alternative like the one I use, DarkTable, which I used to produce this:

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have tried darktable and was not happy with it. I used RawTherapee for a long time on Windows 7 and I feel comfortable with it.

OK, I understand where you are coming from - I still get a bit lost at times myself but do like messing with darktable! :D

Hope you get sorted! :D
