Hey everyone, I'm a linux noob that needs some direction. I have win 7 installed on my drive and decided to dual boot with Zorin. I got the install done for Zorin done with no issues, all partitions in place as needed, but when i select win 7 at bootup all I get is a black screen with a mouse pointer. Zorin boots great though. What can I do to get my win 7 booting ? I tried a repair utility from in Zorin, it repaired grub from what I read, did not help though.

Hi, I would follow this route:

1. Boot with your Windows 7 disc (assuming you have one), and let it do a boot repair.

2. Install Easy BCD from Softpedia (http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS- ... yBCD.shtml)

3. Edit EasyBCD Boot Mgr so that Wndows boots first and Zorin second.
