No it is not but it might be a bit more tenuous - I can't remember if blfriis' posted on this or an article I viewed on line regarding Easy BCD which is where you have to tell the app which OS you want to boot into at next boot.
Things to try:
1. Boot into windows and shrink the existing 'C' (System Drive) using 'Disk Management' and select 'Shrink Drive'
2. Turn off 'Fast Boot in hidden Advanced Settings of Power Management of Windows - also check if there is a similar setting in your BIOS.
3. In BIOS, turn off Secure Boot and choose 'Legacy' boot.
