Screen becomes striped.

When i install zorin 9 64bit on my pc and connected with internet, going oke with the partition, location etcetera, download updates while installing and it starts to install, suddenly the screen begomes striped and i can not do anything anymore.
How can this be solved?

Hi,

start in recovery mode and run "dpkg" per this guide and see if it helps (Network cable connection required!):

I dit try to install zorin 6.3 that went out of the box.
Is there a terminal command to see what's in my pc?
Zorin 9 won't run on the live cd also.

If you still have your 6.3 disc boot into that live, go to Menu | System Tools | System Settings then see what comes up in 'Details' :D

Hi,

what graphics card do you have, it doesn't show in the list?.

Hi,

open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t) and paste the following command and then restart and see if you still have the same problem:

sudo apt-get install nvidia-current


Also run a full system update after restarting (another restart required if anything updates!) and check out the very first part of this thread if windows go black/white on you:
