Drivers trouble

Hi, suddenly i got problems with some drivers. The mouse doesn't work anymore and the Network connection components seems to be disappeared ...
How to fix? I don't understand if I have to reinstall by myself every driver or (I hope) there is a way to do it automatically.

EDIT: I fix by rebooting and choosing an older kernel ... Now everything works, but how to fix permanently?

run "DPKG" per the update guide (network cable connection required!):
