Hi all,

All network broadband or WIFI is working fine, but the icon in the right bottom corner always missing or hidden by the panel.

Here is the solution that I've tried.

1. Go to terminal

2. Then,
Code:
sudo apt-get install indicator-applet indicator-network

3. Reboot.

My box is Zorin 9.

Hi, You should have 'indicator3-applet' present which should show that in the right-hand side of the panel in Windows 7 look - try moving the panel to the top of the screen then back down again by right clicking the panel and selecting Awn Preferences - on window that opens there should be a button that states it is at the 'bottom' - move to 'top' then back to 'bottom'. Failing that install Cairo Dock DE where you can add things like Network applet.

Top right dock you should see network bars! :D

Hi,

use the following terminal command (Ctrl + Alt + t) to re-install AWN and see if that helps:

Code:
sudo apt-get purge avant-window-navigator && sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator

See this section of the post install guide also: "More info about the AWN (Avant Window Navigator)".
