What is the best way to upgrade my Zorin 7.1 installation to the latest Zorin 9.0 installation without losing my current data and settings?
According to my ZORIN "DISKS" info, Partition 1 = 496 GB (EXT 4), Extended Partition 2 = 3.7 GB, Swap Partition 5= 3.7 GB. (Installed on a W.D. 500GB HDD)
Please explain to this newbie as simply and clearly if this is even possible. What are the procedures if one does NOT have a dedicated "HOME" Partition?

Thanks for any insight and or advice.

Hi,

follow this guide to the letter and you will keep all your data and settings, you will still have to install any apps you may need!:
