Hi I am new to Zorin and find it quite easy to use. As my first dabble in to the sea of Linux I am a happy new user. Here comes the but part. With my screen brightness turned up all the way the screen is a bit dim. I can turn it down but it will not go bright enough. It is fine using windows so the laptop itself is working fine.
I hope someone can help me please.

Could you tell us the model of your Samsung Notebook? Also which version of Zorin - Zorin Core or Zorin Lite? 64-bit or 32-bit?

Thank you. What a difference it makes. It works like a charm. My old laptop is skipping along nicely. Much faster than windows. And I can see it now. Thank you again.
