Hello,

I just successfully downloaded Zorin OS 9 Ultimate to my Dell inspiron 1525 laptop. I have internet only though the Ethernet line, but can't get the wireless to connect. I have tried some of the basic steps from a FAQ site on Linux but it didn't get me anywhere. At one point in the search for drivers the program started to download Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver source bcmv. Where it went or if it was downloaded completely I don't know.

Can someone please help me set up my wireless connection? I know enough to make me dangerous. :)

Thanks!

Hey I got it! Thanks for the reply. The one thing i was doing wrong and it was so simple. After the I used the search for additional drivers and found and installed one, it didn't occur to me to unplug the Ethernet and restart the computer! Thankfully I read that in one of your previous posts madvingar. So thanks you fixed it and you didn't even know.

I do have some other general questions that I will post in a new thread.

Have a good one.
