I'm working on finding distros that supports nvidia driver 304.
I've found that xorg has silently dropped support for that driver (and other versions) in xorg versions higher than 12

do not support installing nvidia 304 with my hardware.
MX14 distro runs xorg v12 with nv304 in hardware 3d mode
but
these distros do not;
xubuntu 14.04LTS
Sparky (debian testing)
Linux Lite,
they only support nouveau.
Does anyone have working Zorin install running nvidia 304 in hardware 3d mode?
Hardware mode is needed to run Valve's Steam and other openGL1/2 games
