Its a bible application. Made for windows 98 originally. I got images of the two error messages I'm receiving. I am not so sure how to fix one of them, the other one I can't find the "Software" it needs to download it and get it working properly. If you need any further info, just ask, I will do what I can to provide it to you.

With regard to the first issue, you may have to purchase a codec pack:

https://apps.ubuntu.com/cat/application ... o-plugins/

I cannot say if this will work or other wise!

With regards to .cmp files I don't know if this is relevant or I am totally off course!:

sorry that didn't help. Thanks for the attempt though. I hope others respond to this and can help me figure out how wine works and how it may be possible to get this to work as it should. Its mainly all text. I can do a partial install. But if I try to do a full install (I need to so that all features are there) then that is when I get the error about the image that cannot be loaded. I don't know why that is.

I'm new to linux. So far, LOVE IT :D !

Hi gamelover85, hopefully Gizmuntu's suggestion will help you out. There is an opensource Bible program called Bibletime I think - look for it in Software Centre/er. ;)
