Getting this error using settings/backup:

" could not backup the following files. Please make sure you are able to open them.
/home/bongski/.cache/dconf
/home/bongski/.config/enchant "

What should be done?

Hi, can you see those folders after navigating to your /home folder after pressing Ctrl+ H ?

Hi,

you might need to be "root" (sudo command) to open the files?.

What app are you using?. :D

No need for root acess but had to 'show hidden' to dispay those folders.

So were you able to back them up 'manually'? ;)

I can manually copy the directory as admin/root but the point of my question is that the backup function is provided on the settings to make it automatic.
So if there will be errors what is the solution? To do it manually defeats its purpose.

Hi,

is the switch set to "Off" in the backups app?:

I did a backup of Zorin 10 Ultimate 32-bit last night and dconf would not backup for me either - I suspect it is because it's a bit like Windows System - you can't backup what is currently in use! ;) :D
