Nautilus Crippled in Zorin 10?

The available menus seem to be missing things that were there in the past. A search on here for the way to have a two-pane view tells you to do things that are not available in the current version.

I'm pretty sure there used to be a Nautilus option to have folders open and programs execute with a single click.

I believe you are correct - I know Thunar is for XFCE desktops but it only adds four packages (I checked Wolfman!). It has not created anything untoward to the system by installing Thunar - but whatever you do DON'T remove Nautilus as it is integral to the system. ;)

That is one of the only pains I have with Nautilus! I added some of the extensions from Synaptic like nautilus-admin and folder-colors but it still kind of stinks that the F3 split window doesn't work. Nemo may may be an option as well but not sure if there are any issues with adding it as I haven't tried it and there are a bunch of Cinnamon stuff added. I did find these posts a while back which may or may not be of help:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/285588/i ... f3-feature

and

http://www.webupd8.org/2013/10/install- ... s-and.html

Be aware that the second is for adding Nemo to Ubuntu Unity so, with my limited skills, not sure how that could or would work with Zorin.

Hope this is of help in one way or another,
Tim
