New Zorin fan here, switchin over from years of XP, lovin it

I have Zorin 9 Ultimate 64 bit installed and am trying to figure out how to get my wireless working. I have a usb gadget,

Zcomax XG-705A Series Wireless LAN USB Adapter

which is on the supported by Linux list but can not find any Linux drivers?

There was mention of Prism54 in a debian help page but could not find any info on it related to Zorin ?

When I plug the devise in the system does not see it (yes I unplugged the ethernet cable)

with the cable unplugged I get a icon with a red x

hope someone here can help

Did not expect my post to be moderated :D

so adding a 2nd post (hope you can merge em) cause I found the answer and got it working. Figured I'd post it for others

It was the Prism54 thing that i needed, the commands were ,,,,,

sudo apt-get install linux-firmware-nonfree
sudo modprobe -r p54usb && sudo modprobe p54usb

did a reboot and inserted the device and Zorin saw it right away (even with the cable connected) and my modem was listed when right clicking the network icon in the tray

hope this helps others
