Hello there,
I'm using a Zorin workstation to monitor equipment at a remote site. I have the Ethernet card on the subnet of the group of devices and the WiFi on a hotspot. When I teamview into my Zorin machine and the ethernet cable is plugged in - I loose connection and I have to unplug the ethernet cable to resume my wiFi teamview session. I want the wifi to always be number one - that if I plug a ethernet cable into my LAN card - that it wont take over the internet and assume that I want to use that instead of my wifi connection. Please help - I need the ethernet connection connected to monitor my stuff - but I want the wifi to trump the actual LAN connection.

1: Click on the network manager icon on the right of the bar (it should be somwhere next to the clock).

2: Click on "Edit connections".

3: Click Wired connection and choose Edit...

4: Click the IPv4 Settings tab.

5: Click the drop down menu next to "Method:"

6: Choose "Link-Local Only" in this menu

7: Click "Save" in the bottom right corner of the Editing Wired connection dialog box.
