I have used other Linux Distros that offer Deja Dup as the backup app and I have always been able to browse to my NAS drive to utilize as a backup target...just installed Zorin 10 OS on my laptop and the Restore and Backup do not show a selection for Network as a backup target...all other File Manager-type apps show my network and the NAS drive in question and am able to browse to it....what obvious fact am I overlooking here?

TIA

Hi, I must admit, I don't have a NAS, just an external drive. For backing up I prefer one of two methods:

1. backing up the /home folder, remembering to press 'Ctrl+ H' to show all hidden files and 'dump' to appropriate named folder on external drive;

2. Use a complete backup system such as redobackup (http://redobackup.org). I used this at work to backup a 500 Gb drive that got compressed to about 50 gb - took 1 hour 20 minutes.

Can you see your NAS drive mounted in Zorin?
