Have you installled a new application recently? The correct command for the second bit should be:

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade ;) :D

Hi,

simply open your software & updates window in System Settings > Other software and take out the tick for Opera, the other alternative is download a fresh copy of Opera for Linux and install that with Gdebi which is what I did:

If you don't have Gdebi installed, open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t) and paste the following commnd, once the package is downloaded, right click and open with Gdebi:

Code:
sudo apt-get install gdebi
