Hi Guys, my neighbors computer died so I loaded 9 64 on a hard drive that I had and got her up and going again. She has a Brother MFC-J410w printer that shows in the printer box with the green check but will not print. I took a windows box over and hooked it up and printed a test page, so the printer is good.

I need to know exactly what to put into the terminal to get it going.

Hi, Please read this advice from Wolfman's Post install guide at top of forum:

"Brother Printers:

Open Synaptic package manager and type "brother" in search and mark all the packages that you can see and install them:

then open System Settings and add your printer in System Settings > Hardware > Printers > Add."

[*Footnote: Synaptic can be found just by entering it into the Windows 7 menu type search bar.]
