Joystick issues

Hi,
Don't know if anyone can help here. I'm running Zorin 10 64 Bit. I've got a Saitek ST290 Joystick. I have installed jstest-gtk and I can see the stick is communicating. However when I open Steam and go into a game (Star Conflict) it cannot see the joystick in the settings.

Can anyone help me resolve this? Thanks.

Hi thanks. I'd found and tried that but no avail. jscalibrator doesn't seem to exist anymore. I can cal using jstest-gtk but the joystick isn't recognised within games.
