Dual boot with win 7 prob.

I played with Zorin for a bit then decided to install alongside Win 7 64 pro and it was a real trial but i got it installed but never could find a printer driver for Cannon Image Class MF3010 that would work on Zorin 9.
Finally gave up and am in the process of uninstalling Zorin 9 with the instructions found here on this site (thanks to whoever posted them) and part of the reason for the uninstall is that it stomped on my booting of win 7 pro???
They said to post why I am installing so here you go.
I like the way Zorin & puppy run but it is a big pain in the **** to find and figure out how to install drivers IMHO.
I have not given up on Linux yet but will run live versions on CD and thumb drive till I get more education on Linux language so I can figure out what the heck they are talking about. HUMMMMM Linux dictionary???
Anyhow that's my story and I am sticking to it.

Hi, for your printer issue see this thread:

As for dual booting this is how you should do it:

If you want to play extra safe, you can add a '/boot' partition of 512 Mb BETWEEN your Windows shrunk partition and BEFORE your 'root' (/) partition to place GRUB there rather than on the partition of '/'. Just make a note of the number of the partition to use EasyBCD from NeoSmart then you will always get to boot into Windows without any issue! ;) :D
