Zorin 9 lite, 3G question

Hi, is there any way in zorin 9 lite to get a shortcut on the desktop for a 3G connection?
I mean so you don't have to click the "networkmanager" beside the clock, making a machine for a complete computer newb so trying to make it as easy as possible.
