task bar problem

That part of the task bar that contains the clock, date, off switch, etc., will sometimes for no apparent reason just close itself, like it just slides off the task bar. And I have yet figure out how to get to re-open. Does anybody have a solution?

I haven't had this problem myself, but probably because I tweak Zorin how I want it after install which uses a different DE. From other posts on here (no guarantees!) try moving the panel to the top of the screen then back to bottom. To do this, right-click the panel, select Preferences and on the first interface that opens their should be a 'Position' item.
