1. Download this tarball:
2. Open synaptic package manager, search for 'xterm' and install it - I can't believe it is not present!
3. Extract the tarball, then right-click and open with 'xterm' - it will run the .sh command automatically - all you then have to do is provide your login password to elevate you to 'root' to install it.
