How to get ink levels to show on your Canon Printer

1. Open up Synaptic Package Manager and search for 'Canon' packages.

2. Install the following:

a. cups-backend-bjnp

b. ink

Then the next time you send something to print you should get your ink levels showing (apologies screenshot is of FerenOS!)
