Then in the 'add DNS' box, say for example you wanted to use OpenDNS, you would enter primary first then secondary after, separated by a comma:
208.67.222.222,208.67.220.220 - or whatever DNS servers you prefer for Primary and Secondary that are known to work.
I couldn't find ipv4 settings (I can do it on windows) that was the problem, I'll check better, than you
On Zorin Lite (XFCE), search the app menu for Network Manager
Select Edit connections from the drop down menu
This will open a pop-over window
Find the network connection on which you want to change the DNS and double click it
Then select the IPv4 tab on the next window
Under "method" select "Automatic (DHCP) address only"
Enter the DNS IPv4 address you want to use in the DNS servers field
If you want for IPv6:
Next, click the IPv6 tab and
under "method" select "Automatic, addresses only"
Enter the DNS IPv6 address you want to use in the DNS servers field
You may also be able to achieve the same result by changing it in your Router- you would need to find out how to do that on your make and model router, though.
