[STICKY] Boot from USB even if your Bios does not support it

It has been reported many times that installations go wrong due to bad burning of the iso in the CD/DVD.
Some users have the option of preparing a live USB stick if the Bios supports booting from it, however, others do not have this option in bios, so they are forced to follow only the CD/DVD booting route.

If your bios supports CD/DVD booting, you can use a program called PLOP BOOT MANAGER.
You can download the software from here: http://www.plop.at/en/bootmanager/download.html and burn the image into a CD.
You then boot the CD and when the CD boots you will get a menu with various booting options, one of which will be to boot from USB!
(For example, you download the 5.0.14.zip, you extract it and there is an ISO inside which you burn into a CD).

Therefore, in case you want to try this method you can download "universal USB installer" from PenDriveLinux http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal- ... -as-1-2-3/ follow the very easy steps and prepare a live usb stick.
You plug the USB stick, you insert the CD with the Plop Boot Manager, you restart the PC booting from the CD, and in the menu that will appear you chose to boot from USB.

That's it!
For more information about the Plop Boot Manager you can read here: http://www.plop.at/en/home.html

Hope this is helpful!
