OK, so you have tried Zorin OS or another flavour of GNU/Linux and you want to get back to a working version of Windows 7. Well hopefully you will have read the post on 'How to install GNU/Linux alongside Windows' and you will have created a 'Windows Repair Disc'. To create one, just click on your Windows 7 menu button and in the search bar at the bottom of the menu, enter 'Windows Repair Disc':
After you have created your repair disc keep it in a safe place in a cd jewel case and out of direct sunlight.
So you have removed GNU/Linux from your drive, you boot into what you think will be winidows and all you get is something like:
Time to find that repair disc and place in your DVD drive and reboot. When you reboot, just like Windows XP you should get a message that reads:
The first screen will ask to match the keyboard for the country you reside in - do so!
Next you will get various options - choose the last one: 'Command Prompt with Administrative rights'.
Once there, enter this command:
Then:
Next, enter
You now have your Windows back in place!
