Zorin 9 Manual - Courtesy of Forum Member

Dear Forum Members,

My attempts to create a manual have become stale, especially with regard to Zorin 6 in light of the glibc security issue around the GNU/Linux Kernel that has apparently been an issue since 2000! So my Zorin 6 Manual project is shelved.

The good news is that GEWB has done a great job of putting an interactive pdf together (I bow to his expertise!). I have attempted to modify it in respect of image sizing and font formatting but I feel this could readily be done by the end user.

First and foremost, apologies for non-English readers and speakers - perhaps in your own time you could provide the much needed translations.

This is of course an unofficial manual and therefore E & OE prevails - Errors and Ommissions Excepted.

I have succesfully downloaded the two files: ZOS9-All.7z.001 and 002
Now my question is how i schould make these two files to a readable PDF format?

Hi,

right click the files and then "Extract here", then double click them and they should open with "Evince" (PDF viewer).

I however must point out that file 2 won't open for me!.

Hi Guys, I will try and upload as one large file if Box will let me but I am sorting out this machine of mine that has gone down!

THANK YOU ! I am a new member and this is my first post ... I am 73 years old and not a computer geekdon't think I ever will be this manual will be of great help to me .

OK, just been checking everything ok - what you need to do is download the folder, NOT the file as attemptng to download the file just does not work - you have been advised!
