Dear Sirs,
I am A Man of 63 Years and I have Glaucoma in Both my eyes. I was using using Windows 8.1 and I was Tired of All those Malware/Trojan Horses and Other known Viruses. I cannot afford to Purchase Internet/Antivirus Software, So I would like Some Voice Program like Jarvis or Microsoft's "Cortana" that will Speak to What I Tell it. I Read about Zorin OS from Distrowatch.com, Which led me to this Site. I Hate it when Microsoft Spies of those which have Windows 10. Could Anyone Help me with this Matter on How To Install A Desktop Assistant. May Gods' Blessings come your way, Edward Fischer :?

OK, Zorin itself (or Ubuntu) does not have such software but there is an Open Source Project called Jarvis which came back after searching for (Is there a Linux equivalent of Jasper or Cortana? - [using DuckDuckGo search engine] and found this thread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxmasterrac ... h=ef9b88b6

which led me to:

https://jasperproject.github.io/

It appears that they only have an installer for Raspbian - Basically cheap motherboards that you buy without a case - Raspberry Pi's running Debian Linux - hence Raspbian. Unfortunately there does not appear to be a package installer - everything has to be done manually which is a bit of a let down.

Sorry I can't be of any more assistance. ;) :D

There is also an open source AI in development called MyCroft. It looks promising but I haven't tested this yet, because it is not translated into my language. :D

Dear Edward,
I feel sad to read on your hardship

On your first remark I cannot argee more and exactly for the same reason I stopped using Microsfort after a lifetime.
In an earlier post I stated "the beauty of linux for a novice as myself is the total absence of concern for "malware" along with many other forms of "worms", ransomware, spyware, adware, trojan horses, keyloggers, rootkits, bootkits, malicious Browser Helper Object".

Now on your second request I fail to deliver a working feature.
I will look into
Code:

I personally think chromebook or apple (expensive) might suit your needs
