Why is it so fast?

Hi, I am new here.

I have worked with a lot of different distro's: Ubuntu, Mint, PCLinuxOS since 2008 but was surprised to find a very complete, good looking distro which is very fast even on older computers.

When used on my netbook in the Live USB it is also fast.

Hat of for this distro!

Hi and welcome frits,

Zorn 6 will be out soon (Zorin 6 Lite is already available based on Lubuntu 11.10) so you can take that for a spin if you would like to!!.

Look forward to Zorin 6. Depending on speed improvement of Mint13 Zorin 6 makes a good chance to run on my netbook.

5 already runs (flies) on my old PC and I like what I have seen sofar.

And I made the step and installed Zorin 5 Core on my netbook.

I only use the Gnome session with Docky installed. Looks good and works fast. :)

Shure I am! Made some adaptations to my needs and it is fine for me know. :)

But still amazed that it is running so well. I guess the Gnome 2 is doing this, as Gnome 3 is more heavy.
