i bought a acer switch for half of the price 3 month old
there is a USB port ,if it the usb port to a USB cd dvd drive if i could install zorin on it
does zorin support touch screen device ?

Zorin is a fork of Ubuntu - Ubuntu has supported touch screen devices before Windows did! There are packages in the repository that may need adding - make sure your software updater points to 'Main Server' and not the one in your country. Use 'synaptic package manager' search box for 'touch'. ;) :D

Menu | System Tools | Administration | Synaptic Package Manager - you will need to provide your login password to elevate you to 'root' to install packages (a bit like 'Run as...' in that other OS!) - check-mark the applications selecting 'Mark for installation' for each one as required, then select 'Apply' from the menu bar at the top.

oh and the search box is 'quick filter' - my bad! :oops:
