Official build script?

Official build script?

Postby joe_raby » Fri Mar 23, 2018 3:23 pm

Is there a build script published for Zorin OS? I know this has been asked before, and it's not a priority target for the Zorin Group, but if a build script for Zorin OS Core/Lite-Core was released, it would go a long way to allow for armhf images to be built for Raspberry Pi or other ARM-based SBC's. The only part I don't know much about is whether some of the Zorin-specific components (Zorin Appearance, some of the UI customizations) are closed source. I realise some of the firmware blobs are closed binaries, but some distros are still able to include them in repos. How does that work exactly? Do those repos have to sign NDA's or pay licensing to host copies of those files?
