Good news
I have made ready a Stick for ZorinOS on To Go with the building a live persistent USB Stick.
On a Thunderbolt USb_Device (dell XSP 7590) it runs very very fast.
I have tried the Stick to boot on 3 different computersystems oldt, Old but Nearly New and Newest.
No Problems.
On a Oldy Notebook with 2 GB RAM maximum also ok to use.
Only the boot time is al little bit longer
but nearly fast as a windows 10 on the harddisk.

I have used for prepairing and installing the /linux-tools/mkusb
and the .ISO File from ZorinOS Lite.
The best way to try and work with ZorinOS before change from Windows full.
Best regards
Wolfgang
